Beautifully crafted out of solid walnut in the 1950s, this display cabinet is both whimsical and elegant. The artist gave it a zigzag top --a playful feature that was widely used in mid-century architecture --and yet he used beautiful planks of American walnut and rare bronze hardware that suggests an artisan’s hand at work. The faceted, concave drawer fronts below the display cabinet are another interesting feature. Everything suggests that this piece is handmade and unique.
