In the Bolier Occasionals collection we see a combination of stones, metals, high-end veneers and glass. It is with the pieces in this collection that we can truly appreciate the high attention to detail and craftsmanship. The fine detailing is illustrated in the metal pieces where all the welded joints are polished. You can’t see, feel or tell that the joint was welded. It all looks like one continuous piece of metal frame. The wood insets are then inserted into the frame seamlessly. These pieces don’t fail to catch your eye, as they look beautiful and very modern.
Kata a Japanese word meaning form thoroughly explains what this collection is all about. It is a modern take on classical Asian forms. This collection has a lot of pieces featuring the Chinese red colors as well clean lines in their design. They also offer a selection of beautifully hand-gilded pieces like benches and consoles. The gilt pieces swap in areas that the gilt is place and this adds to the interest. The Atelier Collection is Bolier & Company’s Modernist take on French Art Deco forms of the 1940s. The signature wood used in all the pieces in this collection is walnut. The Atelier Dressing Chest with Inlays from Bolier & Company is a luxury-dressing chest in figured walnut veneer with solid stainless steel hardware. Other pieces in this collection include the Atelier cabinet with silver leaf door fronts. York-based interior design/architecture firm. Mishaan’s work is synonymous with luxury and quality. The Domicile Collection by Bolier and Company features warm North American Modern forms. The collection includes luxurious Modern furniture produced of walnut or dark oak. Some pieces in this collection are treated with an open-pore finish for lower sheen and therefore more durability as this finish shows less wear. The use of the open-pore treatment makes the pieces more approachable due to the appearance of less work on the pieces. The collection also has pieces produced with Italian Carrera marble, white lacquer, and beautiful painted linen. The Domicile Collection’s Cube Chair, crafted of Makassar Ebony Veneer has been selected for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection.

The Kinkou Collection by Boiler and Company features a Modernist view of classic Asian forms designed by Jiun Ho. The Kinkou Cantilevered Chair and Wood Base Sofa with flared arms are beautiful examples of the upholstered pieces in this collection. The Kinkou occasional table, or its negative counterpart the Kinkou Far East, is artfully crafted of molded aluminum with powder coat burnished finish in either bronze or silver.
